I bought it today, as it is an exclusivity of iTunes. I was having a lot of thoughts in buying this or not. Judging that no one seemed to be interested in this.... :/
Well I was and a lot. But I was not really in the mood of wasting 9 euros for a soundtrack of 30 minutes. Or less. Kairo (http://forums.ffshrine.org/f92/kairo-original-motion-picture-soundtrack-takefumi-haketa-95847/#post1797175) soundtrack is like that a bit. Despite liking the soundtrack so much, I really don't feel like wasting a lot of money for it. As it was already a lot difficult to get this one. Money do not come from trees, although sometimes it would help.
So ... I decided to get the soundtrack. Gave the money to a friend, which now, make me think not to ask it again, since I had a harsh stupid critics about liking this kind of music. Go figure robot minds. :(

2012.10.07 original Issue

There is a bad think in this soundtrack, sadly. Track 12 is "currupted". Which means unless someone else buys me that track, I can't do much and risking loosing money again for a corrupted track. This made angry a lot.
As usual iTunes only deliver m4a files I converted to Mp3 VBR -V0 for those mp3 users, like me. But Again, track 12 is cut. It was suposed to last 2:00 minutes, and we only get 1:20 minutes. :(
Thank boogiepop.phantom for solving this problem (http://forums.ffshrine.org/f92/apartment-1303-original-motion-picture-soundtrack-john-117983/#post2037408). :)

But Still, I am more then proud to share this here. And Proud to have this horror movie soundtrack. One that I like and enjoy so much listening. ^_^

Thanks Orie, the music is great and works well away from the film. It's spooky and haunting and parts remind me of the insistent strings of Herrmann's score to Psycho.

I saw a joyful kite-flying festival here where this was filmed in the sunny seaside city of Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan, but since seeing the film and hearing the soundtrack I think of the place with a little menace now!

Incidentally, Japanese do not consider the number 13 superstitious (the deaths occur from a flat on the 13th floor), whereas the room number 4 is skipped in some hospitals and hotels because the pronunciation is the same as that meaning death.
