The source is LP correct?

I don't believe this has ever been given a CD release.

Warwick records I think !

Yes you are right, Warwick Records.

What is disappointing is that this is a 1961 release and as such they thought,(they being the record company) would make more money by releasing essentially all the Jazz incidental cues from the film, and aside from the final track "Little Girl" it is a Jazz album.

I like Jazz as much as any other type of music but having seen the film, Leith Stevens did a really nice soundtrack for this film which was not included here.

Here's hoping in the future it get's a true release.

Thanks again for the up, I added a link as well if you don't mind.

Yes, that was common in those years, apparently. True score releases didn't sell, or so the record industry thought. The thinking was, we'll release an album with all the source music, pop songs and other cool things, and people will be happy. Oftentimes, those albums had been re-recordings of music from the movies, and the authentic music tracks of the movies mostly didn't get a release at all. Gladly, today we have all the releases we want (mostly, at least!).
