I'm with the Agent. 1000 Words is beautiful. I like listening to the song, but the way it was implented in the game was awesome. ;_;

i didn't particularily like the game but the two cinemas were kick ass good the best one is hands down 1000 words. and for all you people out there wondering if you should buy a sound system just to play games louder, yes it a good thing.

well, it depends on what version I'm listening too. 1000 words is my favorite in the US version, but the Japanese version of Real Emotion is definately my all time favorite. I dunno what it is, but the US version of the opening song just doesn't sound as cool @_@

Me I like the song 1000 words because it is melow and the lyrics has a good meaning! and lastly it tells that your about to finish the game!!!!!! :p

Enough said. From that first stanza, it's obvious to see that 1000 Words is the best song in X-2.

It's too bad that the Person singing Real Emotion and 1000 Words, Jade of Sweetbox, doesn't do Yuna's voice. It would be more realistic that way...

Originally, I was a bigger fan of Real Emotion, but when 1000 Words started playing during the end credits, tears came to my eyes and I just really fell in love with the song. It's beautiful.

There's a level system combined with a "dressphere" system. And please, if you have a question, feel free to start a new thread for it, rather than post in a thread that isn't related to what you're asking about.

I liked both songs...there were Pros and Cons to each one:

Pros of Real Emotion:
1) Catchy and Happy
2) Words were clear to understand

Cons of Real Emotion:
1) GRAPHICS had no emotional effect on the audience
2) Song just kind of placed there...no real reason for the song

Pros of 1000 Words:
1) Graphics really pull the heart of the audience in. Emotional graphics.
2) Beautiful lyrics...tear-renching.
3) Actual purpose in plot and meaning.

Cons of 1000 Words:
1) Sound effects of graphics made song a bit hard to understand at times.
2) Song is sad... :( (I know I cried...I'm so pathetic. That's what I get for being a romantic...)

1000 words, is the best, and the FMV is just right for it.
Though for real Emootion I prefer the japanese version the english one is a bit harsh

I like Eternity (title theme) when it's performed by the band. Sounds awesome.

I like 1000 words, but the one in the credits isn't as good but is still great.

well , im just thankful that Square Enix decided to give another artist to sing the theme songs for the English Version (kudo's to Jade) .have you ever heard of Koda Kumi (that would be the one who sing in yhe Japanese version) singing Real Emotion in English?Her pronounciation is terrible ! well , you be the judge.and dont get me started on melodies of life,

yeah I hear that, I got the d/l of her english versions of the songs, they didn't stay for long on my comp, but meoldies of life is good, not great but not bad

Yep, I downloaded and listened to Koda Kumi's "1000 Words" and "real Emotion" English versions also. Don't care to listen to them again.

Black_Magic_User - when you said "Melodies of Life," are you sure you weren't referring to something else? "Melodies" is Final Fantasy IX's ending song and I think that it's not only great, it's absolutely awesome.

yes , i am referring to FFIX . dont get me wrong , i really like the song , is just that i rather listening to the japanese version.Why ?because in the english version , the pronounciation is a little off.

Well, I've heard both the Japanese and English version of "Melodies of Life" and I think they're both great. Koda Kumi isn't the one who did "Melodies" though. The singer is Emiko Shiratori, I think for both versions.

yeah , she did sing for both versions .well , i hope in the future Square Enix will opted for different singers for the english version ( a few exceptions though like miss utada)

Well, I guess you and I will have to agree to disagree here because I think that Emiko did a great job on both versions of the song.

I haven't got the game, but i've downloaded both FMVs. 1000 Words wins hands down.

1000 no kotoba all the way! man the FMV was awesome. It really touched me!!! :sad: yeah well Real emotion was way better in japanese and the 1000 words.... I couldnt really tell the difference between the english and japanese other than the words.... haha hows this for my first post!

I also enjoyed the real emotion video and it was awsome japanese or english and the same goes with 1000 words. but i just chose 100 words because like the setting that it had with the songs and in the end it was just awsome. Dont get me wrong, I do like real emotions but i would have to choose 1000 words over it

It's really hard to choose one. I liked real emotion but 1000 words had that heart stopping feel to it.

I would go with 1000 words. I even bought the cd and I don't speak Japanese.

I would have given anything for an english version. But Most of the music doent have words anyway.

I myself am going to learn apanese. I have taken the oppertunity to go to Japan on account that I have signed myself up to live with a family there and go to school there. I would only go for 6 weeks and learn the language and if I like I could go for a year. Japanese has always been one of my favorite languages to learn.

I heard the Japanese version first, so when i heard the English one during the game, i kind of didn't like it, but having finished, i went to the Sphere theatre in Luca and bought the video for it, and having watched it numerous times, i have to say that i like both versions equally.

But after hearing them a few times I got used to these songs. And now I actually like them. :)

when yuna put on the dress she seen lenne's memorys or somethin and thats were she learned the song from. Its been so long since i played the game i cant remember properly but its somethin like that. And it stoped them fighting by bringing the 2 groups 2gether but like i said b4 its been ages since i played the game so i cant remmeber

Everybody there witnessed the images from the Machina War of a thousand years before, when Shuyin tried to take control of Vegnagun, but Lenne showed up and stopped him, and then they were both shot by a firing squad. Touched by this, Yuna's speech before the song, and the lyrics of the song itself, everyone realized that their fighting mirrored the conflict that had happened before and that things had to change.

I liked 1000 words. It was touching.

real Emotion is a good song, so is 1000 words. But I'll have to say, I like 1000 words better.

I liked 1000 words better because the lyrics touched my heart *sniff tears rolling down my eyes*! They reminded me of me and my boyfriend! That's why I liked it better. Real Emotion wasn't bad either 'cause it was a song I could dance to.

I loved the Final Fantasy x-2 music I have been to China and i bought the Japanese soundtrack before i bought the game and memorized real emotion and 1000 words in japanese before i even knew what they said!! Favourite song for me would be 1000 words (jade version) but then real emotion (japanese version) i luv jades version of 1000 words but i was disapointed with real emotion i preferred the japanese opening. :D :love:

I think i prefer real emotion as i love the video to it and it is a really catchy tune which gets stuck in your head

I like 100 words cuz It has a touchy tune to it.

ILL have to go wit real emotion or eternity because the opening theme really touched me the piano playing was fantastic and awesome.If u started d game n didnt want to play it , the opening theme will certainly compel u to try it out and oh a 1000 words to was pretty cool i liked it mainly because of d FMV =)

Um, I like 1000 words more (not the orchestra version though).

i prefer dancing and catchy music, although 100 words was beautiful *sniff sniff* (haha.) i like real emotion better :angel:
