Sometimes composers I haven't thought of in years suddenly, unexpectedly come to mind. Perhaps I was thinking of Richard Harvey because I was incredibly fortunate to find Game, Set and Match here just a little while ago, after having pretty much given up on ever hearing it again except on lp. But out of the blue I searched his name this morning and found this. And what a treasure it is. Can't believe the link is still viable after this long. Some really, really beautiful music here, perfect for a cold, rainy afternoon like this. Shroud for a Nightingale takes me back decades, I guess, to when we first watched it. It was the first(?) Dalgliesh mystery, and one of the handful of really good ones. And GBH, Michael's Palin's career best, so far. Way back in the days when poor, old PBS could afford to run anything worthwhile. Thanks so much for posting. Beautiful sound quality, too, better than many of the "lossless/flac" offerings here. Much appreciated!
