Thanks, I'm gonna download this and check if the the rip is more complete and/or higher quality than the previous lossless rip from a year (or 2 years?) ago.
I may even burn 14 discs so i can listen to it in my car XD.

Also: Does this Rip include the Lost Tracks that were on the disc like the Ballad of the Wind fish Remix of Link's Awakening?

There were no "Lost Tracks" on the disc. It was merely a LIST that includes some NAMES. NO ACTUAL MUSIC FILES.

I know that a lot of these tracks are really just Fan-Made Stuff and never were on the disc, but there were some songs that were on the disc.
I think there were about 15 songs or so (1. MGS Song, 1 Zelda-Songs, 1 Mother-Song and abou 10 short Sounds for the Menu)

There were NO songs that were left on the disc that isn't on here. Those ARE the fan-made things.

For example, the so called "Lost Tracks" claims that Boss Battles from Partners in Time is a Lost Track.
However, the truth is, there's no proof. The only thing we know about it, is that it's from a Mario & Luigi game. Heck we don't know weather it's Superstar Saga or Partners in Time, and it could be anything, literally anything.

Likewise, is it Forest Maze/Beware the Forest's Mushrooms, or Toadwood Forest from Superstar Saga?

Good stuff it appears that i missed a few songs when i first downloaded this soundtrack.

Part 11 of the FLAC version seems to not work for me as well as part 9 being non existent.

It would have been pretty awesome if we knew what the lost tracks actually were and what they sounded like.

So, two questions:

1) Can this be considered the most complete and definitive rip of the Brawl soundtrack?

Yes, this is the best one, I just checked the amount of Songs and the Bit-Rate with the Previous Rip I found here last year.

Old Rip:
224 Songs

New Rip:
314 songs

and the Bit-Rate is about 10kBit/s higher on each song in the new rip
(and the overall quality when listening to is is better in my opinion)

Amazing! I suggest linking this in the Lossless Video Game Soundtrack Thread; the existing link for Brawl there is clunky, requiring hjsplit and 7-z to get the files out, and if they were corrupted during download, good luck. With the files put into separate rars, it's possible (not easy, but at least possible) to find the bad part and redownload it. Thank you so much!

The one that melonofwater seems to be complete. However, I can't seem to connect to the server on parts 14, 17, and 22. If someone could see if they could download and reupload, I would be eternally grateful.

uh i downloaded the same tracker from the link melonofwater posted a few months ago and seeding was still active

it has the "missing tracks" that ultimate koopa mentioned

this rip looks complete (idk i havent downloaded it), just it only includes things classified as "music" in the sound test, whereas the other one includes some "sound effects"

again i haven't downloaded this rip so i cant compare but if you guys just want the music... download the torrent? easier since there would be so many parts

Hey I'm pretty new to all this forum stuff, but as soon as I saw that ffshrine had all of these incredible soundtracks with most in audiophile quality, I had to get a piece of the pie. But for a good chunk of the soundtracks I REALLY WANT such as this one of SSBB, the links say the file is invalid or goes agains terms or some other reason why the files are not there. I know I am late to this thread since the last post was almost 1 year ago, but is it too late for me to get the SSBB soundtrack in FLAC? And can anyone offer me some reasoning as to why a lot of the soundtracks are not available to download via the links provided? Is it just old links? because this massive OST thing seems to have started years ago...

That is correct, this one is also available on Emuparadise soundtrack section and there's only the remixs ( ~200 songs ). Already got it, it's cool but a full soundtrack would be so much appreciated. Thanks for the reply anyway !

I have Doomguy's Super Smash Bros. Brawl rip still. I will try to reupload it soon. Give me time though, as I'm very busy for the next two weeks. It's 32,000Hz though, so it might not be up to everyone's standards.

It's a complete rip from what I know of. I also hope no one minds this, but I did some additional tagging myself in a structure that is similar to that of Roynerer's Volume Letters to his Sm4sh upload. It's not number tagged, as I don't have the sound test or anything of the sorts to organize it as such. Still hope that everyone wants it after disclosing this.

Also for anyone asking, no I can't provide an MP3 version. Only FLAC.
