Alright, we have all seen him in the trailers, but what role could he play in the story.. I mean we need to start theorizing, I mean like Matrix fans theorizing, because we have already pieced parts of the story together. Little more wouldn't hurt. I mean, I still think that Cloud is hunting down the Sephiroth clones, and the reminant is Sephiroth in the chair. He survived being killed the first time, as did Cloud in the lifestream. And Vincent could be allied in that quest, considering you know, Sephiroth's real mother was his lover.

well, i for one am really itching to finally find out who this mysterious "clone" is, as is everyone else no doubt...:D
i also have this theory. what if there was another jenova project, and that short-haired dude was sephy's brother... the person in the wheelchair wouldn't be sephy because why would his brother or "clone" bow to him?... so i think the person in the chair is Hojo...now i know what you all are thinking wtf? but seriously it is the last thing someone would expect...(beside aeris in the wheelchair). but why would a clone get on one knee before her? i would try to destroy her...:D

well that will be cool because ff 7 is al about complots and theorie stuff and ive heard the movie will only be 1 hour so they have a lot to do in a short time

1 hr is freakin' short.. i wudnt mind if it was 1 and a 1/2 hrs but squeezin everythin into 1 hr and wat seems to be a potentially good ff movie, i tell ya and no surprise, it wud suck...

It was first announced to have 60 minutes, but Square Enix recently said it'll be around 80... or even more... Anyway, who knows how long it will be in the end? We have to wait and see. :)


I think that the Aeris in the sheelchair would indeed be fun. You know she is the villain. :P

but if this movie is like final fantasy the spirits within it surely will suck i really hoped for a game

It won't be... FF: TSW had NOTHING to do with Final Fantasy in ANY way (except Gaia's energy which was sorta similar to mako in FF7, and the fact that there is red energy from a hostile fragment of another planet is similar to FF9... But there is no similarities otherwise)... FF:TSW was SCI-FI, not FANTASY, like the FINAL FANTASY series... Not to mention it was NOT based on an actual game... FF7:AC is based on FF7, which is argueably one of the greatest games ever made

In short: FF:TSW sucks because it has nothing to do with FF

FF:AC will be better because it is a direct sequel to FF7 and therefore must follow some of the same plot elements... Use the same characters, etc...

I think because Vincent played a big part in Shinra, and with Lucrecia, and that Square was mean and didn't put him and Yuffie in the ending FMV, that he should be in this movie! That does look like him in the trailer, but you never know with Square, they're evil like that :notgood:

i also think it is stupid you dont see him and juffie in the ending movie but that�s what i think because they were (secret) players because you dont have to get them when you end it

wait a second...where was vincent? i didn't see him, or if i did, i didn't recognize him. i got the impression that it was sephiroth int he wheelchair. think about it: he travled to the life stream, just liek cloud did in mideel, and what hapepned to him? he was in a wheel chair. i dunno, just a theory...

i dont think sephiroth is the one in the wheelchair because at the end of ff7 you omnislah him quite good i think he is done for and the pictures you see of him are only a flashback that�s what i think

Actually the end of FF7 is open to debate, most ppl believe the end fight was in clouds head as he was in the lifestream and it messes with your mind.

And sephiroth and cloud have both survived death before. Sephy makes most sense. Too many debates on this to be arsed repeating myself why, all advent children threads should be merged into one IMO as they're all the same just most ppl cba reading the others.

Sephiroth 1st Class: he wasnt in all trailers, what was thought to be him jumping off a tree was in one of the poorer quality ones recorded.

i thought it was vincent who jumped of the tree

yeah, i re-viewed the trailer, and i saw him. it does look very much like vincent. and also i have seen screenshots of barrett with a 'mechanical' hand, but i never saw him in the trailer.

i agree it WONT be Aeris, i mean she found her promised land of the certra, a place of eternal happiness, why the hell would she come back to a wheelchair, it wouldnt make any sense, and square-enix can write far better stories than that

heres a theory of mine i just came up with:

now this may be really pointless, or it would imply aeris having a role in advent children besides a flashback.

i just saw the picture of cloud "burying" aeris from advent children, and i noticed something. well, first of all, for people who didn't notice, in the cg picture of aeris by the airship, aeris is wearing a different dress than the rest of the game, but only in that picture. i noticed that she is wearing the same dress in advent children, aeris died before she ever rode in the airship, so maybe she'll be around in the movie.

No its a high possibility tat she wun be in it.. However i do tink tat she will be in the memories Of cloud durin the movie and.. i dunno bout dis but MAYBE she had a KEY role in the settin of the movie

i kinda thought aeris was revived at the end of the game....u do see her pic at the very last moment of the fmv, don't u?

aniwae. vincent helping sephy is quite impossible...though vincent against cloud is possible....

one thing though. i don't think a sephy clone has the right, or the status to be featured in the first trailer...cloud and he are probably the main characters, and a clone of anybody would be hard to be built up as a character in its own rite...

with barret, we'll probably see tifa...

aeris(flash back or not), will be seen and vincent's already seen....

Zikan i hope tat aint true.. cos den i will curse Square fer not releasin this potentially gd movie to the FF Fans of the World..

I think they will translate it personally, they always need money and they'd make more releasing it to Europe and the US than the cost of translating it.
