Some of those simply do not fit in with the rest of the list, dude.

You should give a list of actual jobs, rather than just listing character types and then throwing in a bunch of NPC's and asking people to choose the favorite.

In other words, you haven't exactly been clear in what you want people to tell you.

Warrior/Fighter is hard to top damage/lifewise, so I would say that's the best for monster extermination. But it's probably overall better to have a balanced party, so no monster will give you trouble, cause, iirc, FFX2 had some monsters that were immune to physical attacks.

I'll say dragoon. Simply because in FF4 Kain saved me so many times with his jump ability. Being able to jump halfway across the battlefield in tactics isn't half bad either.

2. And who is the one to stay at the top when it comes to a 1v1 battle with each other class?

(i did use some monsters.. .. but they count as their own individual job. [FFX2-Int has given each monster a set of jobs for the battle arena thing..])

Mine pick would be Paladin.

Strong and able to heal himself to some degree. Altough there is a reason why you adventure in parties in Final Fantasies you know... That's because it's all in the team work.

Yuna as a gunner with low HP and equipped with Catnip.... 9999 every time she does the Happy Trigger any level. Got through all 100 levels of Bevell's dungeon with it. :)

Ninja or Summoner

Lesse... Every Unit has a weakness, there is always a way to topple every sort of enemy... So I would go with BlueMage... the Blue Mages and/or forms of Blue Mage abilities (Gau's Rage from FFVI, E. Skill from FF7, Quistis' Limits from FFVIII, etc...) have a wide variety of attacks... From healing (White Wind), Defensive Spells (Big Guard cast's Haste, Protect, and Shell on the party in most FF's, and other abilities such as Lv3 Defense Less on the enemy ^_^), MP draining (Magic Hammer), powerful offensive attacks (Shadow Flare, Lv3 Holy, Lv5 Death, Pandora's Box, Degeneraor which instantly kills even some bosses, etc...)... So yeah, Blue Mage get's my vote...
