No, unfortunately it's not a recording from the film festival. The music is taken from original releases.

Yeah the tickets ran out one month before the event. The closing concert I attended was fine, apart from some organizational flaws (the venue and organizers weren't quite prepared for 5 thousand people) and some weird dramaturgic choices (there were a bunch of short 0:30 second cues included in the program..... also the first part ALIEN: BIOMECHANICAL SYMPHONY was great, but the second part ELLIOT GOLDENTHAL'S CINEMA OF ART AND BLOOD dragged waaaaaay too long and the audience grew impatient at the very end, which resulted in massive exodus of people). But it was worth for me to visit beautiful Krakow for this concert.

Yeah, Krakow is a beautiful place, especially the Wawel Castle. Also, Krakow is Krzysztof Penderecki's home city. And the view from the roof of the Cracow Music Academy is breathtaking. You should also visit Wroclaw sometime it's waaaaay more worth visiting than Krakow and what's great about the city is that they brew a home-made beer there which is the best in the whole world. Believe me, I've recently been there :]
