I really enjoyed Danny Elfman's score for Dark Shadows, but I also loved the songs Burton used throughout the movie. Is it possible to have a link to download the Soundtrack, as I already own the Original score, please? Thanks

Good luck. I've been asking for this for almost two weeks :(

The only copy I've found is some 22MB version.

You are right...what's more, also the quality of some tracks is not very good. However, at this point I think I will create my own playlist looking for the songs that were used in the movie... Anyway, thanks to all of you... =)

In fact, most of the song on the soundtrack are an old and Classic songs that you can find it easily on the net. Just an Exception for 2 of Elfman's score track. I found it on youtube and then i convert it into mp3 files. ^^

Well, apparently the CD gets a release at the end of the month, so we can get a FLAC rip of it by then.
There is one site that has the soundtrack, but you have to be a member to get it.

Various Artists – Dark Shadows (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) (2012) [iTunes Plus AAC M4A] | Mr. Young (http://www.mryoung.net/25373.orz)

Anyone here a member?

I'm surprised that "You're the First, the Last, My Everything" and "Bang A Gong" (Get it On)" are actually on the OST. Usually songs used in a film's trailer are absent. But, they are from this time period...

And to answer your question Vogue, no, I am not a member

But There is 2 (more) songs on the trailer but not on the soundtrack, they are; Superfly by Curtis Mayfield (Theatrical Trailer) and Howlin' for You by The Black Keys (Tv Spots).
That's all i know. ^^

Actually they're used in the film too! You can hear "You're the First..." during the wild sex scene between Depp and Green, and "Bang a Gong" when cars are approaching Collinswood manor before the ball scene! =)

It's a pity Superfly is not on the album as it is played in the movie when, after his resurrection, Barnabas returns to Collinsport... And I could be wrong but, if I well remember, Howlin' for you is the source music for the scene in the bar, before Barnabas hipnotizes Christopher Lee =)

"You're My First..." is in the film, in the sex scene between Barnabus and Angelique. "Bang a Gong" is there as well, I just don't remember where. "Superfly," which unfortunately is not on the album, is during the scene when Barnabus walks through town, (and is also playing at the local theater.)

(Sorry, someone beat me to it.)

Well, those two songs ARE in the film, so it would make sense to have them on the soundtrack.

Superfly, unlike the keys song, IS in the film. That's strange. Whenever someone posts the soundtrack (be it in 256 AAC iTunes purchased, or an FLAC rip of the disc), I will post a remastered FLAC of "Superfly".

I'm sure it will pop up sometime. The soundtrack is in the iTunes Top 10, so someone on here must have it. Hopefully they're nice enough to share.

I found these links on a site. Apparently they are for the Various Artists edition, since the site shows the image cover of the album (Barnabas face with blue background), but i can't confirm because i haven't download any of the links

You have to be careful. I've seen two fake soundtrack albums so far, both out of Russia. I'll check this one real fast, but it looks like it's probably fake #2. (It has the correct number of tracks, but the Knights in White Satin is defective, the Danny Elfman tracks are taken from the score album, and I don't know what else, 'cause I gave up after that.

PS: 3 hours to download 100 megs? I may not get back to you until tomorrow.
