I was wondering if anybody here had the soundtrack for 2001: A Space Odyssey and/or Wendy Carlos's score for A Clockwork Orange in FLAC???
I just finished watching 2001 in it's entirety, and it was very beautiful! What I think added to it's beauty was the music that Kubrick chose for the film (even though the art direction and cinematography was absolutely stunning as a stand alone). I heard about Alex North's unused film score- wonder how that might have affected the film. Shame MGM didn't include some sort of alternate score option for the Blu-ray release.
As for Carlos's work, I had the remastered version of A Clockwork Orange, but in attempt to up disc space a few months ago, I deleted most of it. I would love to have it again! Likewise, does anyone have the soundtrack featuring music not composed by Carlos?
I've found some dead links all over, hopefully someone can re-post or PM the soundtracks/scores!
Kubrick truly was a visionary.
