Note: this was ripped from the rare Japanese album that boasted not only better sound quality but also doesn't include the awkward fade out at the end of the track Skin that was faded out on the Varese album. I feel I'm able to post this here because this is NOT the Varese album. I broke some of the cues that were mixed together out of order on my source down to create a chronological version. Anyone knows that part of the fun of watching The Evil Dead is the wicked sound design along with the unsettling score. With that being said, this is one of my favorite scores so I hope you all enjoy!

Thanks for that, but where's the link for the FLAC file? It seems you have forgotten it...

I have also seen on SoundtrackCollector (http://soundtrackcollector.com/title/7431/Evil+Dead%2C+The) that a 35-track, 52-minute album existed. Has anybody ever heard about this album, or knows where I could find it?

Still uploading the FLAC version, changed it to reflect that above. There's already a request started for that particular album and so far not a soul seems to know of its existence. The track titles are what baffle me the most. Hopefully we'll hear something more on this later.

I don't believe Milan Records ever released such an animal.

I have analysed the FLAC files of this album, using FLAC tester and it says there are errors on 6 tracks (1,4,9,14,16,22): "FLAC__STREAM_DECODER_UNPARSEABLE_STREAM". Any idea about what it means or what should be done to improve this?

I could listen to this all day if it were the complete score. Roque's music was great but I liked the more improvised feel of Joseph LoDuca's score for the old one.
