my idea is to play through the whole game using only my (yuna's) aeons by summoning at the begining of every battle. since the aeons become more powerful as yuna does (she gets all the XP from their battles) i could get them to kick a lot of ass pretty early in the game.

except...

some bosses (like seymore) dismiss or kill your aeons instantly, giving them only one turn. if i have their overdrive prepared and i simply fire them off will that be enough?

and what about that whole section without yuna? any ideas?

Actaully, Aeons summoned in overdrive everytime kinda eliminates the chalange of fighitng a boss. You have 4 Aeons, they all do 9.999 damage, the boss has 50.000HP. So in 4 summons he's near death, can't get easier than that.

I think the game already is to easy the way it is, going summon only will only make it easier.

Aeons only would be easier. However, there are some times where Yuna will not be part of your party so you can't really summon then, can you?

If you are going for all aeons, try to upgrade Yuna's celestial weapon with the Crest as soon as possible so Valefor's Energy Blast will be the best attack your aeons can possibly do.

For a challenge, I'd rather go through the game with only Tidus alive or don't use the Sphere grid. :D

Yuna can get too strong with all that... unless you decide not to make her go around the Sphere Grid.

It sounds kinda boring honestly. If you want, you can look back at some of the old threads and check out the No Summon / No Sphere Grid / No Customization challenge. That one's really difficult.

That would be much more frustrating then it sounds like cause after a battle, all of you dead characters will be resurrected to 1 HP. So you'll end up killing your people more often then killing the fiends.

well, ya...that's a good point. i wouldn't really be doing it for the challenge, i guess, more for a kick in the pants. but i still probably couldn't get past the worm-boss right before bevelle...

oh well... lost cause i supose...

Actually, for your other party members, just have them escape battle.
