Hi everyone. I've already finished a KIU gamerip I made for myself and I thought you may want to hear it. The quality is not so great, probably there will be more rips with better quality.

320 kb bitrate MP3
66 tracks, missing both Reaper and Orne's 8-bit themes.
Except the first and last ones (I haven't unlocked the Boss Fight 2), I used the sound test titles of the songs. For the Boss Fight 2 I used the name a user gave to this song at youtube.
The first track is embedded in the intro so I couldn't remove the SFX.

Most complete soundtrack for KI I've seen yet. The only thing I think you're missing is Chapter 21: The Chaos Vortex, unlocked by destroying 240 enemies in chapter 21 on intensity 5.0 or higher. And if you need to know how to unlock Boss Fight 2 (that is its name), defeat Magnus with the Magnus Club in Chapter 24.
Other than that thank you, though would it be too much to ask for the entire thing as one big download? I'm not a Pro member of this site so I can't bulk download from it.

I have Chaos Vortex, but somehow I skipped it. In fact, the Chaos Island in my rip is actually The Chaos Vortex, and Chaos Island is missing. I'll fix it.

I have tried to deliver all the tracks in one single rar but so far I haven't found a host that allows more than 500 mb.

You could always split into parts to meet that maximum right?

Male-male cord from the 3DS's headphones jack to the computer's in-line jack and then recorded and edited with Adobe Audition.

I bought Skyrim when I heard the music :D and I play all the Zelda games in 70% for the music. I don't listen the soundtrack of the game as i've not finished it.

In fact I think that the soundtrac isn't released yet on the Nintendo Club Japan. This could explain why we don't find it...

I think some parts sound a bit muffled when compared to the in-game quality using headphones. I struggled very much with those and it may have to do with my equipment.

This is my first 3DS rip so I'm not well aware of the quality of the sound output of the 3DS. It may not be an issue after all.

One "but" - I don't think that tracks needed looping, they are long enough without it. Even if it's spectacular music at times, I just don't need to listen to piece twice in a row... But I'm probably in minority here.

I think there are more than 25 tracks in the game, though. The CD only has 25 tracks, so it's probably incomplete.

chances are the CD will contain only the chapter themes, leaving out the menu and battle tunes. however, if they're going to do that, they may end up mashing the land and air battle chapter themes together. this is just something I have in mind and as a theory by using Nintendo logic. =/ unfortunate, but probably true.

Someone's lieing whether it's mid april of end of March, I'm betting end of March is lieing.

I tried to sign up onto the club nintendo japan. But it was hard to actually sign-up due for the fact that I can't read japanese. If anyone here is good at understanding japanese and signed-up already, please get that soundtrack, someone, anyone!

for the Reaper and Orne theme, couldn't you go to the settings and turn the sfx and voice volume all the way down, then play through Reaper's Line of Sight? iirc that level had both reapers and an orne
EDIT: Never mind! I just tried this, but apparently Reaper and Orne's themes are considered sound effects, so this doesn't work. You could turn on sound effects only, then confront an Orne in chapter 24, or any other level where it doesn't chase you, so that Pit's footsteps can't be heard. As for the Reaper's theme, no matter what, you're gonna hear him freaking out, but his theme was in the original Kid Icarus, so you could just get the original theme from the original game.

Nope. Strange as it sounds, the Orne and Reaper's Themes are SFX, not music.

I tried to find a way to record the Orne's theme, and I think I've found a way, and I've tried it in-game, so I know what I'm talking about this time. In Chapter 24: The Three Trials, after beating Phoenix, you confront an Orne as you approach the top of a staircase, so make sure only SFX volume is turned on, and you've taken out any other enemies on the way up. Once the music starts, run back the way you came, as far away from the Orne as possible, so that you can't hear his scream. This makes the song perfectly clear without sound effects.

Your rip is incredibly adequate. Some songs are softer than others (some even change volume mid-song), but overall, it is adequate.
I'm still waiting for the OST, but I doubt it will have a lot of the songs you ripped.

I still haven't received the OST yet, Patkip89. I won't really be expecting it until the end of April/beginning of May. Hopefully it's sooner than that, but I doubt it.

I'm surprised that they're so slow, considering the fact that Nintendo of America has fast shipping. NOA usually takes 2 days to ship (though they say 4-10), and one time I ordered some posters at around 4 AM on Sunday, and I still got them on Tuesday.

Thanks for the upload. It is always appreciated. Now I just need to find the Ys: The Oath in Felghana OST, and I will be an enormously happy man.

Personally I'm a little upset to some of my less favorite tracks in place of what I wanted/expected Nintendo to include.

For instance I hate to see Chapter 7's ground theme take priority over Chapter 7's Air theme. 7-A is just way more deserving.
Chapter 8's ground is still WAY epic, but the air had alot more variety in it as 8-b gets a lil repetitive.
Surprised nothing from Chapter 10 made the cut.
Chapter 14's Lightning Battle is great, but I'm amiss that the other 14's didn't get in there.
Chapter 20's Air segment, like Chapter 7's ground, just feels wasted to me, and doesn't even sound like it fits.
Chapter 5's Air, Dark Pit theme is way more superior and dynamic than the main Dark Pit theme.

And I think I would have sacrificed Opening theme with the theme that played on the E3 trailer.

But OMG why didn't Nintendo bother to make this a 2-disc set. They did-so for Mario Galaxy D:
