All you do is download the 3 parts, then use a extractor like 7-zip and extract the first part and it will do the rest :)

It's a zip file, you can use 7zip to extract them. Just make sure to download all of the parts.

Any chance you could just post the new tracks separately, to save on bandwidth?

This is awesome mate! Good work on doing this, it would have taken a lot of time and effort! Oh, btw, those tracks 'Trouble at Arrae' and 'Leaving Arrae' for the Cerburus scientist mission? The planet was actually called Gellix, Arrae is the star system. You might want to change that if you see fit, it seems more appropriate if you have the planet, but it's hardly a major problem.

Thought I might add to this with info concerning the names of the Normany Sound System tracks. They are in fact licenced pieces of music, and I've been able to identify them. In addition, the music heard in the Purgatory Club is a looping mix of a track called Staggered by Ekstrack. Like Staggered, Callista was edited for the game to loop.

You're absolutely amazing - thanks for all the work you put into this!

Man the Citadel DLC will be a huge undertaking thanks to the sheer volume of ambient music tracks used for the party. I recognised two of them from past EA games, specifically The Sims 2 and SSX Blur, so those are probably the places to look for.

I didn't hear the music used for the arcade in there at all though. And while it isn't music, it'd be great to have Mordin's new songs tossed in as well.

I say that for the moment, you only upload the score by Hulick, Dikiciyan and Velasco from Citadel. Then the party ones and arcade leave them in a separate folder or something. :D

Wow!! I had downloaded your original version last year and prefer it immensely over the soundtrack that came with my N7 Collector's Edition! I am downloading the new updated version as I type this. I had finished my 2nd playthrough tonight(as a 100% Paragon male Shepard, and it was probably the final playthrough I will do with him because I did all the DLCs including the recently released Citadel, which IMO is THE BEST DLC for all three ME games and had the EC). First time I played it was just the main game with From Ashes and I chose the Destroy ending. Like some people, I was felt kinda let down by the ending(I didn't HATE it, but it just felt underwhelming)and this 2nd time around I chose Synthesis(after trying out the new EC Destroy ending and feeling while it was an improvement from the original ending, it made me realize that after I helped EDI to grow and fall in love with Joker, and brokering peace between the Quarians and the Geth, it just felt wrong to wipe them out after everything I had done.) Anyway, I have a question. I noticed you have have three variations of An End Once and For All on this new version, one for the "Good Ending", one for the "Destroy Bad Ending" and one for the "Control Bad Ending". Does this mean you consider the Synthesis ending to be the "good ending"? IMO, I think it is. I was just wondering. Anyway, thanks for the new upload and I look forward to hearing the new tracks!

P.S. Just out of curiousity, what ending did you pick?

I've also managed to estimate what music goes where by observation of the style of the music. It's a bit rough though so don't be surprised if any anomalies are discovered.


Base_SFX: All this content is to do with the main Shore Leave mission. The exceptions are Base_SFX.0381 and Base_SFX.0391, which are the two additional tracks available in the Apartment Sound System on top of the normal Alliance Sound System tracks.
SFX.359-513: These are the tracks for the Apartment Sound System (both default and unlockable), as well as the Piano renditions of Vigil and the various other incidentals for when crewmembers are invited to visit. SFX.363 has an added intro over the Alliance Sound System version.
SFX.520-611: Tracks for the Silver Coast Casino.
SFX.395-402: Music for the Party, when it's in a Casual mood.
SFX.403-413: Music for the Party, when it's in an Energetic mood.

I've also managed to estimate what music goes where by observation of the style of the music. It's a bit rough though so don't be surprised if any anomalies are discovered.


Base_SFX: All this content is to do with the main Shore Leave mission. The exceptions are Base_SFX.0381 and Base_SFX.0391, which are the two additional tracks available in the Apartment Sound System on top of the normal Alliance Sound System tracks.
SFX.359-513: These are the tracks for the Apartment Sound System (both default and unlockable), as well as the Piano renditions of Vigil and the various other incidentals for when crewmembers are invited to visit. SFX.363 has an added intro over the Alliance Sound System version.
SFX.520-611: Tracks for the Silver Coast Casino.
SFX.395-402: Music for the Party, when it's in a Casual mood.
SFX.403-413: Music for the Party, when it's in an Energetic mood.


Man, that's a LOT of Junkie XL tracks! I'm a huge fan of Junkie XL too! I didn't know his music was used during the party! Where can I find this Citadel rip? I only downloaded the MP3 version of the official BioWare soundtrack. Any chance someone could just put the party music and the stereo music in a separate download?

EDIT: I also really like that song Bad choices, but the one that is on the Extended soundtrack is a different version than what is played in the apartment(I've also heard it on the Normandy docks on the Citadel, if I'm not mistaken.)

Wasn't aware there was an official OST! Yeah Bad Choices is different in the Apartment than it is on the Alliance Normandy's Sound System. Specifically in the Apartment it starts from halfway through, probably to get to the main chorus riff.

Can anyone tell me how to download these files? It keeps giving me a prompt to download this ilivid software program but I'm not sure if thats a fake program or what.

It might be just me, but there seems to be a small issue with the hosting of these files (in other words the links appears to be dead). Now is it possible to maybe ask for a MEGA upload? There are cookies and other chew-able noms to be had as a reward.

My Norton AntiVirus won't let me download them. It stops the download and gives me a big red X and "Threat Detected" "Threat Removed" stuff. And I read things online saying "Don't trust Mega-co-nz", especially if one has Firefox (which I do).

EDIT: ALso, Mega froze at 44%, refusing to progress. So basically, I'm screwed.

UPDATE: Had a friend download the file via Mega onto his computer, copy it onto a CD, and bring to me. My computer uses BitZipper to open .rar files. When I opened it, I got the big list full of track names, but trying to click on, say, Track 1 triggers "BitZipper (Not Responding)"; it refuses to open, and I have to close ("Windows is checking for a solution to the problem..." *CLOSED*). This happens no matter how many times I try.

So basically, thanks to it having been removed from YouTube with Legend-of-Mania's account closure, and my computer A) refusing to successfully download the file (it gets up to around 97% before Firefox then crashes), and B) proving incapable of opening the copied-to-a-CD file with BZ, I will never ever ever get to hear the Complete Expanded Soundtrack ever again.

if anyone has a neogaf account, one of the bioware devs is asking what people would like to see in a remastered trilogy for new gen consoles. I figured we could all band together and say that we want additional game score releases to accompany the collection release. I would do it myself, but neogaf won't take my email :(( but I don't thinkk this opportunity should go to waste, if we let them know how many people want additional soundtracks to be released, they might do it.
