You think too much.
The wording is very eloquent, but I see no rhythm within this... Makes it very tough to read and aligns it more with prose, rather than poetry.

Dude!!! Poetry can be prose too you know... Ever heard of a famous poet named Edgar Allen Poe... Stricking similaritiess. Reminds me of Anabell Lee, only the love interest is not dead...
