Ok, I'm at that stupid part in chapter 2 (the begining) and I have to push those gay ass musicians into the elevator, I know that if you succeed in pushing them in the elevator in the right order you get that item that helps you deal 9999 damage. Anyways, I cant push the stupid red penguin guy (the one that keeps moving) in. I've tried every way to push him over to the elevator but the damn camera angle changes when I get him half way to the elevator he moves aside and goes to the back. So anyways, can anyone tell me how to do it or at least skip it, because it seems like its mandatory and it's pissing the hell out of me.

I didn't get an item. :(

Just take it slowly and stuff and shove to the side of the wall and run. Give it some time, it won't take that long if you think about the movement. :O

I didn't get an item either. O_o

I don't think you have to push the red guy in. Cause I pushed the other three in the right order, and the story advanced on. I didn't even bother with the red guy.

Sup Cygnus.

You only have to push the 3 that don't move to advance. If you get the red guy that moves very fast to go in the elevator, you will receive a nice accesory(sp?) that allows your hp to exceed 9999. Not 9999 dmg. It's called Enterprise.

I successfully did this earlier...it's a drag but it pays off.

When I did this, I only saw three musicians in the hall, and Barkeep.... didn't see the other person you were talking about pushing into the elevator.

ah...well...I lack patience for that...lol. I'll probobly hit that if I replay it. Oh and one more thing, I need help on those special dress spheres (the ones like fluer fallal) I have no idea how to use them I accidentaly clicked out of the explanation on how to use them when I got the first one. I think it said to press L1 and then R1 but I think im wrong because it does nothing....

I've heard that, in order to use them, you must activate all the other grids on your garment grid. Unless you have some special garment grid which gives you access to it right away. But I haven't played the game so I might be wrong.

Basically go through all of the classes in your garment grid.

The best thing ot use is Unerring Path which is basically 2 classes in one path. Just one change and BOOM, hit R1 during the Grid menu and you get the special sphere.

Ya, locations are as follows:

Full Throttle (Paine): Can be gotten in Chapter 1 in Macalania Woods... Talk to Guado Leader (what's his name?) Four times in a row.

You also get the Unerring Path GG from that

Floral Fallal (Yuna): Chapter 2 Djose Highroad
You have to get this one.. I think... if not its about in the middle... start at the temple and move south to over hear some people talking about losing a sphere.. its on the road

Machina Maw: Chapter 2 Bikanel Desert
At the oasis.. you have to get this one too I think

I believe that as long as you are able to go to the Woods, it's free to claim. *unless there's some event where he would disappear or something but I'm not that far yet.*

Oh and unerring path comes with your first Special.

Regarding missing the bonus stuff: I personally am just looking to first complete the game and check out some of the side stuff along the way before playing again and trying to get all the neat stuff. If you check the manual, it talks about an option called "New Game Plus." It lets you start the game over again with all of your dresspheres, items and abilties, so that you can go back and get some stuff you might not have been able to get before. That's what I'm going to do it.

New Game plus? Do you have to beat the game first or something?

MogKnight

New Game + = New Game but with previous game spheres/abilities/items/some keyitems. You need it to get 100% and the best ending.

So it's actually not possible at all to get 100% completion the first time through? Interesting. I'll have to start looking at the guides and stuff once I beat the game so that I can see what I missed before and get the "best ending."

question about the enterprise..i thought you get that if you do the mission with tobli getting the hypello back to his place in ch 2...is that not true? cause i dont remember getting a enterprise when i pushed the 3 guysin.

You're supposed to push Tobli in too in order to get the acessory.... but i never see Tobli, all i see was the 3 musicians and the barkeep...is he inside da cabin or sumthin?

i hear it IS possible to get 100% in one game. but its soo hard you need to follow exact guides to know what to do.. .. playing it over more than once is the easier way to go.

i imagine it would be fun to see things get smoked when you stack up 6 Iron Dukes giving 2 to each girl with Lv 99 stats.

you don't always get to see tobli. it depends on wether or not you helped him with the cart in ch1. if you even activate that sidequest, you don't see tobli. i think you have to find tobli in kilikka when you go to that mission. you should get a personal invitation to his concert when you are about to turn the first corner at kilikka during that hotspot mission.

If you've chosen the Youth League, you'll be able to get 100% in your first game. However, if you've chosen New Yevon, you'll get a maximum of 99% at the end.
