And i enjoyed it too, It was a let down that they stopped the series when they did, at least in my area, they said it was cancelled. :( I hate when a good series gets chopped! Anyway i'm just glad when someone really enjoys a post.

This is a much underappreciated SF-series of which the new Battlestar Galactica was inspired... A TON.

Too bad Fox axed it after one season, when things were really getting interesting, but that's (obviously) another "tradition" of this Murdoch-company.

Many belated thanks for this! I loved this show as a teenager when it debuted, a number of years later I was lucky enough to meet a Tucker "Boss Ross" Smallwood at a convention while wearing the Wildcards patch on my jacket - he loved it!

Who monitors the birds and Angriest Angel set the bar that few other shows could match.

The most poignant music moment was in Who monitors the birds when Hawkes is hiding and a chig unknowingly stops next to him and is fascinated by a birdlike creature flying by...and then carries on none the wiser while Hawkes was prepared to attack - the melody that played connecting the themes of the episode was astounding.

A little factoid, composer Shirley Walker did the bride's theme for Kristen "Shane Vansen" Cloke's wedding to show co-creator Glen Morgan, it was an arrangement of Shane's theme from the show and Shirley's gift for the wedding.
