I don't have the equipment to rip vynil, otherwise i'd provide even lossless of this, sorry. And, the other version of this which is floating around the Web sounds even worse, being "mono". It will have to do.... The recording is pretty old, after all.

Thanks for this. I've listened to it and I don't think it's a vinyl rip (you can't hear any pop or crackle), I think it's more like a DVD-rip of the 5.1 soundtrack, in which only the left and right channels were extracted. If you listen carefully, you will hear slightly some dialogue in the background, and also some sound effects (on 5.1 mixes, dialogues are usually put on the front channel and music and songs to the L & R ones, but on old soundtracks, the tracks are sometimes not separated very well so you can hear some slight dialogue on left and right tracks); that's why I think it comes from a DVD-rip.

Anyway, I don't think they would have ever released a 57-minute soundtrack LP for an animated motion picture back in 1973. There is obviously a mistake in the soundtrack collector (http://soundtrackcollector.com/title/37453/Robin+Hood) database because they assume this tracklist of 41 tracks comes from a 1973 LP, but if you search the reference of the 1973 LP in another database (see here (http://disneylp.com/records/1353/)), it doesn't match.

If what you say is true... the seller played me well, damn. Vynil rips can be cleaned of the usual pop and crackle, a friend of mine did a pretty good job with the transfer of Teen Wolf Too (http://www.amazon.com/Music-Motion-Picture-Soundtrack-Vinyl/dp/B001YH3HTO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1332331094&sr=8-1) on CD.

Anyway, unofficial CDs (expanded scores, DVD-rip, fan-made albums) shouldn't be sold or bought, only shared for free like what's done here... Selling unofficial CDs is a total rip-off.

There are a lot of bootlegs reprints and DVD Rips sold at eBay and the likes, some are even being labelde "For your consideration Promo". At least some of the users which happen to sell bootlegs do so in good faith... Anyway, from my experiences, I haven't encountered many bootlegs which are lossy-sourced (when the official is lossless), they're just illegal copies with logo swapped, the quality's still there.

Of course it's not a proof what LSK has is the genuine digital copy of the LP, but...the tracklist is the same length and the album on the site I've linked to is roughly 50mn long.

read 4 posts above you about this...it is a DVD rip...there was a cassette or LP released of it thou with the storry being told by narration and you heard some of the score in between and i had this as a little kid, but haven�t come upon it since then...(I think the narration was in my native language thou)

Wow, I didn't know I was shaking the bushes this much. A DVD-rip... mmm. This was just a tracklist I found Googling "robin hood soundtrack". Didn't know it was a DVD-rip. Thank you, still, for the link, Leon. The story/songs LP does sound intriguing, but until that swings into this neck of the woods, this rip be fine.
