prolly wans't much point in the post/thread... but yea I think the characters look to childesh like, no badass mutha F*cker who will slay u good type of character.

It's good to see the FF saga going back to the way it has been before the dissapointemt of FFXI being totally a MMORPG. Bad mistake indeed. This one I'm really looking forward to very much.

Apparently you haven't pLayed FFXI. Not only is it the best MMORPG ever... I am enjoying playing it far more than any Final Fantasy Game I have ever made. Square never said theat they would only come out with Online games now... it was just something that they were going to do with 11... It is definately not a mistake though... judging from the fact that it is the second biggest online game now next to Everquest.

ffxi is great, i finally played it at my friends house. the bad ass character in ffxii definelty seems to be the man that looks like he is becoming king or leading an army(holding up sword guy wearing cape and mostly white) So once again people stop worrying about the future of square, they really know what they are doing. i understand how many people dont like ffxi because u GOTTA pay extra. that really does suck. also you need a good computer. your gunna be dishing out a lot of money for a game like this, which a lot of people dont really want to do for just a game. however, on the topic of ffxii which this thread is in, dont look down. we BARELY have enough info about it to start criticizing it. and think about it. if every ff game didnt have something new, they would all be the same, and that would be boring. so u cant think something will suck even b4 u see it, thats just a lie to urself

Are you serious? There's no way it'd be the last one. The only way it'd be the last one is if the whole company was anilated by some freak disaster.

As FFXII goes, I think it'll be great. I have enjoyed every FF game I've ever played. I seriously doubt they could disappoint unless they were actually trying to. I think it'll be a game worth remembering.

Can you say does playing of ffxi in net cost money i like final fantasies really much but i wont pay cash for each month for a game! i dont know this because i live in europe and it havent come here yet:confused:

FFxi its great.. like all the others ff's.... ff 12 HAVE to be a good one... i will enjoy walking aroun in that big city.... killing creeps... I REALLY WANT TO SEE THE NEW SUMMONS!! (pray... THEY HAVE TO APPEAR!!!)... well .. thats all.... very nice pictures... ... .. I NEED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

i don't really like the new character designs, they look similar to some of thoose in suikoden 3, just more reallistic.
vaan is to childish, but i won't pass judgement until i play the game.

I think the main guy looks like a chibi Tidus and the main girl looks like a chibi Yuna (Lol)!

I just hope that there are some better cooler looking characters than the ones already released because Vaan just looks a 9 year old Zidane Tidus cross gone wrong. But if the story and gameplay are good I don't really care what the characters look like.

Actually, the character design in this one, they look older than how they made them in FF9. I think the main guy(Vaan?) does look older than Zidane, but looked like a 12 year old Tidus, in other words Chibi. The main girl, I don't know her name yet, does look like a chibi Yuna, as I've said before.

We need a good mix of friendly characters and some darker, meaner ones. I think in FFX they got it right, with some friendly characters like Rikku and some more serious characters like Auron and Lulu.

That's a very beautiful picture! I don't know who it is, but I think it might be the main female character. It kinda looks like the beggining scene of FFVIII where Rinoa is in the feild of flowers.

Yeah the picture is cool, i was just wondering who the hell it is. Its kind of an old picture now so i dont really know who the hell it could be. It may even be an abandoned character for that matter.

This is a very very old FAKE picture manufactured by a talented fans or group of fans, as you can see by "2001", a long time ago, and it really, really shouldn't be mistaken for a genuine FFXII picture anymore, not now that we have seen all kinds of videos and media etc.
I suppose you also fell for the Aeris pic. o :(
