The following IS NOT a game or soundtrack rip. It is simply a collection of all of the music released pre-release to the game, though it does contain a small handful of full tracks from the game.

Silent Hill Downpour has had some music controversy, with Daniel Licht taking the role of composer,the first time anyone other than Akira Yamaoka has composed a Silent Hill OST, and Korn performing a vocal song for the game. Thanks to this concern, we have been previewed a good amount of the soundtrack, including some full tracks and previews of the whole official soundtrack. The release is less than a month away, but in the mean-time here's a collection of all the collected music so far.

Only two of the songs are Youtube rips, which would be the beta versions of Stalking For Dinner (which was released via Youtube) and the EGM Preview Song, which was a DVD rip.

I am also one of those concerned by the choice of having Daniel Licht (and the group which I won't even name) do the soundtrack and main theme respectively for one of the most fantastic and mood-filled creations ever made. I will most surely miss Akira Yamaoka's amazing guitar riffs and his music together with Mary-Elizabeth McGlynn and Joe Romersa, but I hope that Downpour will still be good and also sell well, because Silent Hill in general is too good to fall just because Konami is outsourcing its production to other companies than their own.

Oh, finally, i like this. The new guy's pretty good.

Thanks for sharing! This guy should really stick with Dexter though... There's maybe 3 halfway-decent tracks here.(all pale in comparison to Akira's music) And Korn belongs no where near Silent Hill! :O No exceptions on that one. At least Akira has been confirmed for the new SH movie soundtrack. Also, might I add that the Shadows of the Damned soundtrack almost works as a brand new Silent Hill score! It's GLORIOUS.
