Surely this couldn't have anything to do with the death of Whitney Houston last week, could it? I'm sure it sparked someone's interest, which is why it was posted. To no surprise, her catalog has seen a recent boost in sales on iTunes. Sad to see her go....

for me it does, I was thinking of what covers to do last week and then it hit me, why not make something that has something to do with Whitney. i would call it my simple tribute to her, that's why i made the bodyguard cover at my blog (http://thescoredesigns.wordpress.com/2012/02/13/the-bodyguard-soundtrack-complete-alan-silvestri/).

Indeed. Like most celebrity deaths, you didn't believe it when you heard. She will be missed.

i learned about it while surfing the local channel and upon seeing that running news bulletin on the bottom part of the channel i couldn't actually believe it at once and so i immediately turn the channel to cnn and that's where i saw Piers Morgan talking about that incident...then for sure it is for real. she made headlines all over the globe on her heyday and though she made mistakes and had gone through personal problems and struggles on the later part of her life i would definitely chose to remember her for the great talent and music she shared with the world.

and indeed she will be missed.
