Do any of the Star Wars novels tell stories of the Great Sith War?

Not even sure where this goes, but there is no download link, and it's not vgm related, so you're way off the mark.

Just moved it to the tv/movie discussion.

Yes, the Tales of the Jedi comic series by Dark Horse Comics, which detailed the events prior to the Great Sith War (which was also known as the Sith War, the First Sith War, and the Exar Kun War). These comics and even some novels chronicling these events were authorised by George Lucas to tell more of a back story to his universe. The Great Sith War led into the Mandalorian Wars (set prior to the first Knights of the Old Republic game), which in turn, gave birth to another Sith War led by Darth Revan and his apprentice, Darth Malak. After those games, there was still minor conflict (as shown in the second Knights of the Old Republic II The Sith Lords game) with Revan's former general, Meetra Surik (aka the Jedi Exile) and others against the Sith Triumvirate. That in turn eventually led to the conflict prior and during the Star Wars MMO, Star Wars The Old Republic.

Anyway... enough of me on my soapbox. Here's a link regarding the Great Sith War: The Great Sith War/The Sith War/The First Sith War/The Exar Kun War (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Great_Sith_War).

but as far as i know, there are no actual books about that, they are all comics/games. the first books chronologically are the lost tribe of the sith miniseries (kinda an offshoot of the great sith war) and then it skips up to the revan era.
