I hadn't heard of this until now, but thought it was terrific. Enjoy!

Very nice soundtrack indeed.
Did you record it from an emulator? Aren't there any song for stage 4-1 or 5-2? or are they the same as some other stage music?

I don't know, really

I got it from (Halley's Comet Software (http://hcs64.com/)) when their mdx music was still up, so someone else had dumped the game's music into a music rom of sorts and I just converted it to mp3. It could very well be that the 4-1 and 5-2 music were repeated in other stages, or that they are some other track that isn't specifically labeled as a level theme. However, it's great that you asked because it helped me find a tracklist (Arsys: Knight Arms CD Track Listing at cyList (http://www.cylist.com/List/405611271/)). With the other data I have, I was able to match all the music I had with these names and have reuploaded them here:

ah.. MDX.
Actually so is MDX not a format used for games, it is more used for fanmade covers of game music.

No, MDX is the format that Sharp's X68000's music is in. (X68000's MDX - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X68000%27s_MDX)) Much like NSF for the NES, VGZ for the Genesis, SPC for the Super Nintendo, USF for the 64, PSF and PSF2 for ps1 and ps2 respectively, etc, it IS the music as it is within the game.

Afaik so was not MDX used for games, i have some Knight Arms MDX files but they are covers by "Yatsube".
Can you post the MDX files you recorded from? So i can compare them.

MDX was definitely used for games. The files I have are indeed credited as "yatsube", but I don't have any indication that these are not the original game music. If you listen to the music here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lz1FAIBwXzI), it sounds exactly the same and is credited as Toshiya Yamanaka. Do you have any information on "yatsube"?

Hey there can you upload the soundtrack to Alshark from the X68000 please? If you can't, that's OK.

I might be able to find it, but a quick search yielded nothing. I can try looking again later maybe, good luck!
