If you are on Disk 2, you'll go back to that one city to get into the submarine.

You will get a scene where he goes I think "Is it just me, or am I forgetting something?"

....Does he forget anything? Just a scene to show its real because of random instances?

If you look closely, there is something missing from the scene, something that was seen in Disk 1 and fired at Junon in Disk 2. It's relevance becomes clear towards the end of the second disk, so if you haven't got that far, well...

***SPOILERS***

The Junon cannon has been relocated, from its place in the coast, to Midgar to use the natural energy of Mako to fire at Sephiroth's barrier over the crater.

***END SPOILERS***

That's the way I always saw it anyways. :)

My thoughts:

He said that because at that time you're not supposed to go into the main area of Junon, only the air dock place. If he says it, it means you have to turn around, go to the air docks and see the cutscene with the Gelnika plane taking off.

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">You know... I'm sure I've had that message on disc 1 before. O_o It's something like "hey, guys, does it feel like something's missing?"; well I remember the word 'missing' being in there anyway. I thought that when I saw it on disc 1 it was because of Yuffie stealing something, but it didn't look like anything was missing... although possibly... :erm:

I always thought it was because the cannon was missing too.

Right. I'm not sure what exactly Kie is referring too.

Anyway, you know me, I like to research stuff like this, so I looked it up in a game script. Cloud says "I may be mistaken, but...... Doesn't it feel like we're missing something?"

I always wondered what that meant too and I think the cannon is a good suggestion. The person who wrote this particular script seems to think so too.

I have never gotten that message any other time than that particular part of Disc 2, but I always do get it then when playing, so I think it probably does have to do with the cannon.

I've always thought it was because the cannon was missing (that screen did show the cannon before Disk2). I still think that.
