AquaNox Trilogy Soundtrack

FLAC

Download (https://safelinking.net/p/90d8b76435)

This package includes the soundtrack for AquaNox, AquaNox 2: Revelation and Archimedean Dynasty (known as "Schleichfahrt" in Germany). See the Wikipedia article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquanox) for details.
If you've never heard or played these games: The music ranges from techno to rock. The combat tracks are the highlights, and there are one or two sad moment / mysterious encounter tracks as well.

Huge thanks goes to who Jessie who gave me the UnMassivePAK program (Thread 91725). Without it, I wouldn't have been able to extract the music files from the games. This collection wouldn't have been possible without him.

And yes, I have no album art for this one. Just use the cover art from one of the games (which is the only art available anyway I believe :P)

Here are the technical notes, for those who're interested:

AquaNox's music files were all .MP3s. The source files were encoded in 112 kbps, with the exception of "Movie No.4 - Neopolis Arrival" which is from my old rip. I don't know how I got the music track from that movie without any spoken lines. The music from movie no.6 (crawler cave exploration) was present in the game's files, but this one wasn't. Whatever I used back then must've been a miracle.
AquaNox 2's files were all .OGG, which made a FLAC conversion that much more promising. All tracks from the game are there, but I kept the name of the file instead of remaming it. For instance, the music from the intro is from the "Tears" track, whereas one part of the ending movie is from the "Unhancy 1" track (yes, the original file really was called like that). I added the sound from the Massive Development logo as well as the music that plays when the Harvester ship moves from one area to another for completion's sake.
The 5 tracks in the Archimedean Dynasty folder are unnamed because there is no way I can find proper names for them (they would be called "Background Music 1" anyway). Track 1 to 4 are tracks found on the game's CD - like some other 90's video game disks, this one has tracks playable via a CD player. I ripped those myself with EAC. Track No.5 is from an external source.

Oh for the love of god, why did I write Kai with an "y" and didn't notice it before I posted the thread? Oh well, at least it's correct everywhere else.

I hope you enjoy this release guys, because this is gonna be my final work on AquaNox, period.

Yeppers, Aquanox 1 & 2 battle tracks are pretty good examples of techno-rock, and actually I like Kai Walter's (PVCF) stuff in general. A personal recommendation would be to check out his "My Number is C64". Wonderful track! Mp3s of the original and remix can be found HERE (http://www.reflex-studio.com/studio3/downloads.html).

Also here one track that I particularly remembered from the the 1st Aquanox.

I just can't explain how thankful I am for this post. I've been searching for Aquanox sountracks ever since I finished the game years ago and since Aquanox websites are long gone(even most of community ones) I've lost hope.
Now I'm able to dive into World of Aqua once again:)

Yeah I found this post back in 2012 after finishing Aquanox for the second time and was so happy! I wanted so desperately to get a download of the Forneus and Death of a Comrade soundtracks and here they were! I've been playing Archimedean Dynasty (Archimedean Dynasty ? Windows Games ? Downloads @ The Iso Zone (http://theisozone.com/downloads/pc/windows-games/archimedean-dynasty/)) over the last couple of days and the story is awesome! It's so cool to go back and experience the pre-Aquanox life of Emerald "Dead-Eye" Flint.

I never would have gotten into the Aquanox series (AD, AI and II) if not for happening across a copy of Aquanox, which came as a bonus game boxed with our family's video card, while I was bored one day. I didn't even know it was there until I did some digging!

For anyone interested, you can still get linked to the old Aquanox portal using the waybackmachine archive site. AquaNox Portal (http://web.archive.org/web/20050207103431/http://www.aquanox-portal.com/index_eng.htm)
They've even got the drink recipes listed! The Tsunami Booster has become a favourite with my brothers and I. It's a MEAN drink and I strongly recommend adding the cayenne pepper layer on top!
