FILM MUSIC OF DARIO MARIANELLI (FLAC)

This was a great find as it included the wonderful music by Marianelli for I Capture the Castle and Happy Now. Both of those scores, along with I Went Down, have since been commercially released, but this CD still offers 18 other rare tracks from 8 other films scored by Marianelli.

Audio Quality: excellent stereo sound. No dialog or sound efx.
Tau and EAC indicate 8 tracks as lossy (track 8,9,16,17,18,21,22,25) and rest as lossless.
UPDATE: Contrary to what I originally said in the heading (which I cannot edit), this is NOT a promo, but appears to be someone's personal compilation. I'm not sure where they got the unreleased tracks, but it probably explains the mixed formats.

In case anyone wondered, all tracks are lossy. What puzzles me is that the tracks are encoded differently. This is probably no real promo, more a compilation of bootleg-sourced material.

Both Tau Analyzer and EAC indicate that 8 tracks are lossy, the others looking lossless. Sorry for causing FunnyML and others any confusion---I changed the info in my post to be more specific. I jumped the gun in calling it a Promo, but cannot edit that part out of the heading.

The program I ran the disc through says differently, with 15 tracks identified as being CDDA (lossless) and 5 others possibly so---all of which was already outlined in the spoiler of the original listing. I agree that the mixed encoding is indeed odd and raises some questions (for those who care about these things). If FunnyML's program concluded differently from the one I used, then I wonder if we can actually get readings that can be trusted? I DO agree with FunnyML about this possibly not being a "promo"---I don't know why I assumed that it was, so I removed that notation in the original text (I couldn't edit the title field). I apologize for that confusion and thank FunnyML for bringing it up.

I don't use filecheckers like you, they can be fooled easily. I had a look on the spectrals - even the ones without cut-offs definitely have some kind of compression in the higher frequencies.

The link is still good, it's Peeje that's having issues. The solution seems to be to re-up it, which I will do asap, and will let you know when I do.

This is a great post. Thanks for this wonderful upload. Is there any chance of getting The Warrior? I saw the movie (awesome performance from Irrfan Khan) and was floored by the introspective score. Its really rare and another diverse gem from Marianelli.
