Hey do any of you think that they will keep the ability to attack your allies? Also do ya think that they will add the ability to attack people withought them being a allie first. There is alot I am wondering about this game. Also What about the Special Attacks? In the FF series they all had Limit Breaks, Overdrives, ect... to fit the guy, but now they have you pick a race and customize your guy....but what about the limit breaks....how are they going to have them? Random limit breaks, or the ability to pic form over hundreds......

I have a feeling there might be limit breaks and summons, cuz thats what makes it Final Fantasy. And I don't think you will be able to kill your allies but Im pretty sure there will be PKing cuz that is a must have option for online RPGs.

Only if your a Tal Tals and I still prolly won't BS, i'll tell the little thing I am ganna kill it. The main reason I wan't to know is I would like to be prepared if sympathisers of the Tal Tals try to kill me when we are against a monster.

Umm there were 6 FFs before they put limit breaks in, and tactics didn't have them either, so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't include limit breaks

There was also a couple FFs without summons and they are going to have that. Besides there are less than 6 cuz FF6 has limit breaks to sort of.

I don't think BSin should be allowed, because on online games like Starcraft, there are those weird people that title things like "2v2 no BSin plz" it really gets on my nerves. Maybe there will be class types kind of like in Seiken Densetsu you know a dark light or neutral class and maybe that could influence BSing or not.

Anyway BSing is needed, without it the world would be unreal, in every thing there are always traitors and people corrupted by the forces of darkness, look at Ada in FF8 (think that was her name) There was also lady Yunaleska in FFX......she was working for the very being responsible for the pain she helped people end. It's the order of things to have those that are corrupt and it will most likly be in FF11

But I guess ur right, the game play would be kinda crappy if there wasn't those weird twists and turns. I'm still not so sure though, it could still lead to a couple problems with the fun in the gameplay.

yea I understand what you mean, the game could just turn into one big battle between players and then the quest would never be compleated......but that also means the quest and the items that are along the way will still be there for anyone that don't continously fight other players......I will choose my battles wisly

But, if other people can attack us, doesn't that mean this kind of game will definetly teach us not to trust people too much:D .

also,About Limit break or Overdrive or WHATEVER, I think it's would not like Omnislash(Cloud), Lionheart(Squall) because How can we use that in On-line game(Pretty confused if our limit(Omnislash)seen by other on-line player);)

Yes, you can attack anyone/thing you want. you can go up to your best friend if you want and fight him. I think, THINK, that you can steal from anyone too. I know that GI or some ther mag said that you could attack people, but there was nothing on stealing....but it just makes sense.

final fantasy 4 or something for super nintindo had a limit break typeish like thing this one dude could do this thing called blitz where u had to remember a secret combonation and press it (sorta like aurons overdirve)

About fighting your allies at the same time. There will probabaly be a system where both members must agree to fight eachother, as in a duel or something similar. Because depending on how class/lvl goes unless there is a limit to what you can attack based on level, anyone could just come up and slaughter you

First off, EsX, UO rules... I played on and off on Cats, last guy I had was Roric. I finally bought an LShaped house for 5 mill bucks then decided it was boring. Now, if there isnt any PKing, I prolly wont get it. I like to fear going into dark places, and sometimes taking advantage of dark places:D . Also the release date was pushed back in Japan because of some other game. Still think it will come out this summer?(I always play MMORPGs over summer... D2, UO.)

i think that site may be wrong because i herd it was ulltima onlineish which would be cool but with the battle system it would be more diabloish with u have to acept a duel o yea and i herd ffxi armies are gonna quote"concur the world" un quote which is pretty damn stupid cause it would probibly be an army of newbies

Just cause you heard it was one way doesn't make it unable to be another. Well, and just cause the site says it's one way it doesn't mean it isn't another. Welp, looks like we're in a jumble here, I guess we'll have to wait till the game comes out in america to find out any thing. *Sigh* oh well =).
