Final Fantasy IX pushed the PSX to its limit with the FMVs involved and featured, each one breath-taking and providing a good forward step with the storyline.

Which particular piece of video footage did you enjoy the most? For me, the scene just before entering Memoria with the Silver Dragons attacking the air ship. That was one of the best piece of video I've seen, countered by one of the best themes ever to counteract each point as needed. Awesome, awesome stuff.

My favorite scenes are the Silver Dragon Attack (way cool!), the Black Waltz Attack (so sinister...), and the scene where Garnet cuts her hair. She got hot... :)

Bahamut's attack on Kuja
This one is probably the greatest. You do not often see a summoning in a cutscene, and it was even Bahamut! And yeah, you do not often see someone getting attacked by Bahamut and merely smirking. ^_^ One cool scene!

Other favorite scenes are the haircut scene (although I've sorta... turned it into a joke and now I can't watch it without giggling a bit...), the Silver Dragon attack (talk about setting up a boss battle -- I just wish they'd continued the music into the boss fight!) and when Zidane meets Dagger up at the telescope.

I liked the video clip where Garnet is walking in front of a lake in front of the Alexandria castle (the scene where Garnet cuts her hair?). The castle and the water in the background look good and the expression on Garnet's face is uh, interesting.

I liked the ending, the scene where Garnet cuts her hair, Bahamut when summoned by Kuja, Bahamut vs. Alexandria and finally, Kuja distroying Terra using Ultima.

The ending was definitely my favorite scene in the whole game.

Bahamut being summoned by Kuja and attacking the boats was the best, Although the beginning seen with Garnet in the boat during the storm was great.

My fav was the scene where the Black Waltz attacked the airship and all the black mages were getting destroyed.....it's so sad though...poor vivi!:(

That was a good one. I also like the Alexander/Alexandria scenes, Dagger cuts her hair and the ending. I don't think anyone's mentioned the Alexander/Alexandria scenes yet, so I guess that one can be mine.

Probably the scene where Odin is summoned. Made me go "WTF" when I saw the village was destroyed.

Alexander saving the kingdom as Bahamut run's like a dog with his tail between his legs.

Watching them pray for Alexander was great to watch too.

I don't have a favourite, but all the ones mentioned so far were brilliant. I'd love to play through again, but it always takes me some time to start again, and I usually stop.
But yeah, they're all really, really good.

I like the on where they show Kuja for the first time in Burmecia. Another good one is when Blank gets petrified in Evil Forest.

mine would have to be the scene where Garnet cuts her hair, imagine the amount of hard work and time that went into the detail of that scene, its truly amazing that they could spend the time making every strand of hair blow through the wind. very impressive!!

Dagger's hair cut was good one. The cargo ship was sad.

the scene where dagger leaves on the airship while zidane go to rescue kuja was perfect, the perfect end to the perfect game...

I liked when Bahamut attacked Alexandria, I also LOVED the one where they had all got beat by Beatrix at the end of Disc 1 at the place where it's raining and the Silver Dragon one. Also the one with Odin was great too.

My favourite scene was the reunion of Dagger and Zidane. That one brought me to tears. I thought Zidane didnt make it.

Well besides the ending, my favorite Part is when Zidane saves Garnet when she is falling off of Alexandria Castle and then they swing on the rope and huggle. That part is so sweet ^_^

The one in Lindblum with Garnet singing. I just love the look on Zidane's face when he sees her.

Zidane rescuing Garnet and Eiko. I love the little pouty face Eiko gets when Garnet throws her arms around him.

And of course, the end.

When I saw the gloves of " Marcus " I knew then that that was Zidane though it did make me cry.

Of course, the script to that's a bit screwed if you change Dagger's name from default :).

Favourite movie.... the end sequence. Not really a movie, but it was one of my favourite parts in the game.

My fav. scenes were the war between the silver dragons and the air ships....the black mage attack on lindblum....when kuja is attacked by bahamut and survives....the destruction of Alexandria at the hands of Garland....When Odin attacks the "sandy" tree house (yeah I dont remember the name of that place) and last but not least....when Kuja smirks at Zidane after his 1st battle with Gen. Beatrix....yeah I know its alot....lol

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">Bahamut attacking Alexandria is pretty high up there, but I'd have to say the ending. Even though quite a lot of the ending wasn't actually FMV, the parts that were worked really well, especially Zidane running towards the tree. Great ending to this game I must say.
