I know I just posted a thread on being able to customise your party during battle, but I still had three people whom I preferred to begin battles with.

My party of choice is:

Tidus. Because he's the main character. Mainly. He has a good attack bonus, has some great support magic and abilities.

Yuna. For the Aeons. Only for the aeons. It's an easy way to finish the battle, really. To summon the Aeon. She has some cool healing magic powers too though, I'll admit.

Auron. The man. The greatest attack strength, the biggest sword, the coolest voice, the "Break" moves helped me on a number of times in battle against those blob thingos. The guy is just class.

I almost always use Tidus, Wakka, and Rikku. Wakka and Rikku are my favorite characters so I want to use them but I'm also used to having the main character in the party... But I use Wakka, Lulu, and Auron in the earlier parts of the game just because they're the best party you can have for damaging.

Tidus - for Blitz Ace

Wakka - Attack Reels rocks big time

Auron / Rikku - I like Auron, but later on the game, there isn't anything particularly special he can do. Rikku's really cool too and is sometimes useful for mixes / Use ability (but anyone can get that later on.)

I would go with

Tidus - main character, plus he has good attacks and has alot of strength and has speed

Auron - Also a great character, he is amazing when it comes to strength and also has alot of amazing skills

Wakka/Kimarhi - Both have alot of speed and good skills, i've beefed up bth there magic and attack, so there interchangable and both are balanced

Yuna/Auron- The third member is usually a toss up. I kind of try to switch everyone into that third slot.

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">I used Tidus, Wakka and Kimahri for ages. I dunno why I chose those, they just ended up becoming my strongest after I favoured them, but the main reason came from me only ever buying capturing weapons for those three, so the other characters didn't get much of a chance in battle.

It turned out that I kept Tidus and Wakka in the party most of the time anyway because of their overdrives (Blitz Ace and particularly Attack Reels were very useful), although Rikku later replaced Kimahri once I realised the usefulness of mixing. That's the party I generally kept from there, although I did stat-max with all seven.

My current (and most preferred party) would be Auron Yuna and Lulu. THey make a good combination. Yuna for summons, black/white magic Lulu white/black magic and Auron for fighting.

Well, since I have maxed characters, its just a matter of preference for me. But my party is: *drumroll* Tidus.... *dramatic symbol crash followed by a drumroll* Yuna and.... *same again, louder* Auron!

tidus for the ground dudes, since he had a better hit percentage than auron and wakka and everyone else

lulu for the special enemies with elemental weakness and airborne bogies

and yuna for healing, black magic when healing isnt needed, and aeons for when we need a little help.

I prefer Tidus, Wakka, and Rikku. They're quick and have good abilities around they're spheres. But I stil love Yuna, Lulu, and Kimahri. I don't really care for Auron.

Tidus for attack
Lulu for magic
Yuna for heal

Tidus, Auron and Wakka, switching one of them with Yuna when needed. Sometimes Rikku instead of Wakka. By the end of the game Lulu and Kimahri were really weak with low HP cos I hardly used them. Yuna was too, but she was still useful for the Aeons.

Well Yuna is the obvious choice.

By the game's system, everyone call do everything else and get teh same stats upgrade as everyone else. So about the only difference is there initial stats, except Yuna. She has the Aeons nobody else can have. So, that leaves the overdrives mostly and the final weapons.

That being said. the most logical is:

Yuna
Rikku (has about the most oiverdrives and the most variational)
Khimari (also variational)

However....the party I like to have around because of the story (and always have)

Yuna
Tidus
Auron

I like the Tidus, Wakka, Auron combo best. Go da boyz!

My preferred party contains Tidus, Wakka and Yuna simply because they are the strongest based on their overdrives and special abilities. Also those 3 are the only ones with max stats and its pretty pointless using weaker characters.

Well, obviously it �s Auron-Sama.
Then, i decided to take my cute little Rikku along, cause she�s cute and can steal things and stuff and then I switched between the Tidus-guy and Yuna with her Aeons.
but in the end I used them all. (but Auron never left my party... :D )

the three i prefered (well prefere) were/are tidus, wakka, and auron. those three have the highest hit points but sometimes, depending on the monster, i'll switch one of them for another character if i need them. But i like wakka the most he can damage different kinds of monsters :)

hmm.....i usually use auron, tidus, and wakka. i don't know why but i suppose it could be bcuz they're my favorite characters and they're really strong (if u use them enough). ^_^

My main party consisted of:

Tidus: He is the main character after all and not a bad little fighter once you jack him up in the sphere grid

Auron: Easiest choice of the game. He always had the most hit points, was the strongest, he was cool as shit and with those 3 he was a given.

Now the 3rd person sorta chopped and changed until I could find the right combination. My top 3 use to be Auron, Tidus and Lulu...

Lulu: Big + with her Firaga, Waterga and Thundaga throw in Demi and Ultima and you got 1 bad ass chick.

I also use to use Yuna coz of her Aeon's and healing abilities but Lulu learnt the abilities, Curaga is all you need and hey presto, a black mage with a soft side.

Tidus-Cause he is really fast and I've leveled him up by running around aimlessly.

Auron-He is really badass. About 35k per hit...i love the Masamune.

Lulu-She has a mog doll i edited to have 1mp cost...Magic Booster...And break damage limit Doublecas ultima does about 22k damage each. She also has holy which gets up near 30k.



Sometimes i bring in Yuna causeI have Nirvana Fuly activated and all the aeons. She can do an assload with Holy. Anima is clocking about 95k with his overdrive. I haven't paid attention to the magus sisters yet but the Razzia attack is around 45k usually so i say delta attack may be really nice. Yojimbo is annoying and Bahamut is only about 45k.

My favorite team to use on Final Fantasy X is:

Those are my best characters to use. They are the best characters to use in the game.

Auron for coolness and shear strength
Lulu for (again) coolness and magic
Tidus. by the time i got used to the fact you didn't have to have the shitty main character in your party i'd done a fair bit of leveling up with the guy and he'd become quite useful

Looking Back, I still can't say why I choose this party, but my picks were Tidus, Yuna, and Rikku. First Yuna, who could summon Aeons so that was a must have (sucker for summoning sequences). Tidus, because of how strong I got him to be in such a short amount of time (Blitz Ace before the Guado hometown). About Rikku...I don't know, I just got a think for spunky girls in tight green shorts...

I found myself using a combination of Tidus, Wakka, Auron and Lulu most of the time, bringing in Yuna when I needed an Aeon. And that was pretty much it. I used Rikku alot later on to take advange of mixing and mug, but thats it. I hardly used Kimari at all.

My favorite party is:
Auron becaues he is just too strong to not have him in the party.

Tidus I'm used to having the main character in the party( old habbits die hard)

Yuna I use her for the aeonsand becaues of her magic abilities. I made her learn all black and white magic. that and i find she does more damage than Lulu.

Tidus,Yuna,and Auron. Speed,Magic,and Power. A winning combonation.

I have Wakka, Tidus, and lulu as they all have multiply hit overdrives and when you get them to do 99,999 there is no point in Auron being in the party.

i mostly use Tidus, Wakka, and Auron. Pretty much because there the strongest. and i kinda went all over the sphere grid with em. so Tidus can do all of yuna's stuff and Wakka and Auron can do a mix between all 3 (tidus, Wakka, Auron).

i've used tidus yuna and auron almost all theway through the game apart from when you cant use yuna then i used lulu but yuna had most of the black magic quite early in the game so there wasnt much use for lulu

Well... I like to use Tidus, Auron, and Yuna. I use Yuna for her aeons. I moved Yuna through Lulu's area of the sphere grid, and if you equip her with Nivana, she'll do INSANE amounts of damage. I use Tidus because of Quick Hit and his overall agility. I taught him Mug. I use Auron because he is a big powerhouse of strength and defense. I like his limits too. ^_^

I always use Tidus, Lulu and Auron... why? Tidus knows haste, and he's my fav... next to Wakka, Lulu because of her magic skills, and Auron because... he's strong and he's Auron... ^^
