Yes people, I bring you the return of the FFX Rumble!!!! I apologise to those who had participated to the previous one and especially to Agent0042. Now I guarantee that I am fully active and able to keep this running.
I'm pretty sure most of you know the rules by now.

I think I'll go with Boss theme, simply because you hear the battle theme too much

If the boss theme is the one called "Enemy Attack" on the soundtrack, then I think I'll go for the regular battle theme. ("Normal Battle") I always thought it was a good piece compared to some of the other normal battle themes in FF games.

I vote for the normal Battle Theme... It's pretty cool... The boss theme was interesting at first but now, it's not as cool...

I don't recall the 'Prelude' having any sounds of piano in it. I meant the Prelude as in that bouncy music when we first see Tidus, don't mistake the Prelude for 'To Zanarkand' they are two totally different scores.

Heh heh, "that bouncy music." For the record, the Prelude is a classic piece. You can here it in Final Fantasy VII during the opening credits. And in Final Fantasy IX, it plays when "The End" is displayed after the closing music. Not sure about the other FFs, but it's been around a while. In fact, I think the Prelude is the piece that plays during the famous "bridge scene" in the first Final Fantasy. Although that could be the "Prologue," I'm not sure. Anyway, they were trying something different with it for Final Fantasy X. Maybe sort of "Rock and Roll?" I'm not sure what you'd call it.

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">I really liked the prelude music too. I did remember it from earlier FF's where I wasn't that much of a huge fan of it, but with the beat they've added to it in FFX, I really liked it, so that gets my vote. The Luca music got pretty annoying after a while.

I absolutely love Tidus's theme. It's one of my favorite pieces in the game. Actually, the first time it plays is right at the beginning of the game, when Zanar is talking about Jecht. It's funny because every time I hear this piece, I always want to start narrating along with it: "I was in a coffee shop, running away from home when I heard the news. Jecht, gone, vanished into thin air..."

Blitz Off! - Well it's obvious this is the main theme of the Blitzball games.

Peril - This theme is heard whenever Sin attacks (like when the Al Bhed had a huge machine ready to destroy him, near Djose?).

To be honest I wasn't really a fan of Blitzaball nor the music, so I am going for Peril.

I'm actually going to vote for "Blitz Off." I actually did like blitzball, as well as the music, although there were better themes associated with it, such as "Blizball Gamblers." Still, I can't even remember what "Peril" sounded like, or what it's called on the soundtrack, so "Blitz Off" is my vote.

Edited to add that I checked out "Peril" at the Sphere Theatre in Luca and I don't like it at all. "Blitz Off" is definitely better for me.

Oh and also those Al Bhed Primers (is it called Primers? I can't remember for the life of me) that update your knowledge in the Al Bhed language making it easier to understand the subtitles. XD

Let's see, these are two good pieces. Bravely Forward is known as Brave Advancement on the soundtrack, while Jecht's Theme is still Jecht's Theme. I'll go for Bravely Forward, I was in the monster arena a lot and I liked it.

Yeah, I think we should put in "Blitz Ball Gamblers," (awesome) "Rikku's Theme," (a personal favorite) "Seymour Battle," (way better than "Seymour's Theme") "Summoned Beast Battle," (fighting the aeons) "Suteki Da Ne" / "Suteki Da Ne (orchestra version)." (of course!)

I'm not sure what all of these are called at the Sphere Theatre, but I could check. "Summoned Beast Battle" and "Suteki Da Ne (orchestra version)" aren't available at the sphere theatre, since you have to do the final battles / beat the game to get them.

It definitely has to be Suteki da Ne for me. The Hymn of the Fayth was nice and there were quite a few variations on it, but Suteki da Ne was really good.

Hey running a rumble seems like fun! :D Maybe I should take over? This board seems like it is dying, no? Maybe this rumble could spice things up here, so I�m really considering taking over this FFX Rumble.

At first, I was sort of blackmailing that I�ll take over the rumble if I was mad a moderator (which I would be a kick-ass moderator, don�t you agree?). But that didn�t turn out so well. Regardless, I still think I can make a great moderator, especially over the FFX board and the FFX-2 board, once it becomes more popular. Christmas is nearing and a bunch more people will get copies of FFX-2 as gifts (hopefully, including me), or they�ll use the money they get to buy a copy themselves. So things will start getting busy over there, and there�s no moderator in charge! So I�m just saying that I�d welcome becoming a moderator, especially for FFX, FFX-2, and/or FFIX (my fav. FF game).

So now, who what�s this rumble back up and rumbling? Just to see the activeness of this board, I won�t take over the rumble until five different people (no creating multiple accounts, please) post saying that they want this rumble back up. For BlitzBall, I've written an awesome FAQ which is sticked at the top of the topic list on this board. Check that out. Also, go through the in-game tutorial a couple of times until you understand what the heck you are supposed to do. At first, I was totally clueless on how to play this game, but I've learned myself and now I'm considered an FFX BB Master to some people, I guess.

For the Sun Sigil, check the thread you made. I'll try to get the FAQ up there ASAP. That Sigil is hard to get.

On a side note, you should be able to listen to all of the songs in the sphere theater at Luca providing that you bought all the music spheres. Don't have enough gil? Kill some Mimics at Omega Ruins (the appear after you steal from a tresure chest in battle and there's nothing in it) for some easy and fast gil.

Another note, some of these titles of the songs come from the Luca Theater directly so on the actual soundtrack, they could be different.

i can't remember what the servants of the mountain sounds like but if it is on the 3 disc then I wouldn't have much recollection of it.I only took notice of the final theme, seynour fight and suteki da ne (orchestra version).

I think the titles of these songs come from the Theater at Luca so if you have the soundtrack, the song titles may be different, but somewhat similar. This is an interesting battle. Both are fairly decent, but as far as blitzball tunes go, I like "Blitzball Gamblers" the best. My vote is for "Prelude" because it seemed like they were trying to do something different and fun with it from what it had been in past FF games and I liked that.

Prelude gets my vote. Personally I find the Blitz off theme a wee bit on the irritating side If you ask me. The prelude is a nice techno piece that reminds me of FF7. Sure brings back lots of memories......... :D

Haha I don't know about other people but I defintely go for Suteki da Ne, I just so love it.
The lyrics are so sad but great, so many emotions in this song, it explains and tells the main idea of the storyline in FFX, matchs with the game perfectly.
Especially the part goes "disappear in the clouds" (I don't know how people translated in English but that's what I know from the Japanese lyrics), and thinking about Tidus jumps into the clouds in the end... Man... sad sad... TT^TT

What should we do next? There's character and location. I'd go with character next but it's up to you. If we do characters, I know 8 but I dunno about any others. (Well I know other characters but I dunno who to use). If you know of any that must be in the character rumble, the post/PM them to me. Let's try to bring this to 16. I think characters is a good idea. Final Fantasy X seems to have more important NPCs than some of the older Final Fantasys and especially Final Fantasy X-2. Yunaleska (first summoner ever that defeated Sin. She resides in Zanarkand awaiting sucessful summoners to turn a guardian of theirs into the fayth for the Final Summoning. Yuna and Co. end up defeating her in order to break the cycle of Sin.)

Shelinda (the female Yevonite who you first meet on Mi'ihen where Yuna has to encourage her to do her best. She kind of follows you around after that, being at the place you're going to right before you get there. She ends up being promoted to Bevelle.)

Shelinda. She could get annoying, but she provided some critical healing at Mushroom Rock Road and that's enough to get her past the first round for me.

Yunalesca was just... annoying. Yuna really put her in her place. Good riddance to her.

my vote goes to Issaru, couz he stands for Loyalty, (he fights for Yevon, although she is the daughter of the famous Lord Braska, his idol). But also for revolution (he saw the strength of Yuna, he knwos that she could defeat Sin and let her pass). He is thinking what the best thing is for the people of Spira, very rare.
So he get my vote.

Lulu gets my vote. I'm not very sure how fast you can turn the right analog joystick but Her limit break sure is reminiscence of Irvine's one.

Yuna. As far as merchants go, O'aka is cooler than Rin.

Yuna is the intrestet person for me, couz she is the peron who developing most. First the unsure girl from Besaid to the strongest Person in whole Spira. she is looking the most dangerous thing directly in the eyes. She is only 17 and have the strongest will I ever seen. And this developing in such a short time is amazing!! although she saw and felt a lot of Pain of the evilness of people like Syemore she believed in the good of the people. That'S why she got my whole respect.
Rin is friendly from the beginning and support the group so good as he can. but Yuna does that to so she gets my vote. And I can find mor connection to her minds then those of Rin.


So defintly Yuna.

Let's see... Tromell. He was redeemed in FFX-2 (hope that isn't too much of a spoiler) and I can't just block that out of my mind. Kinoc wasn't a bad guy, but I really don't think much of him.

Auron's my buddy 'ol pal...i think he hated he was a little chubby and naive when he slashed himself when Yunalesca showed the Flashback of Jecht becoming Braska's Final Aeon...or just because he didn't become his Aeon..i dunno

Auron's got my vote. He's one of my favorite FFX main characters. That old man's storys some times were interesting but he had too much of a boring voice and dragged on, they probably ment for him to be like that but still.

Auron cause he's one of my favourite characters plus Maechen always tell stories that I already know. I find his stories boring.

Maechen actually gets my vote! I never considered him a boring old man and I just love listening to his voice! And I just find him really cool. Sorry, Auron did rock, but he doesn't win this one for me.

Auron - he's up there with Vincent from FF7 and Kaze from FF:U in the 'cooler than you'll ever be' category.
