Hi,

Does anyone know what's happened to our old archive pages where just the titles of the downloads were given. The last address I had was http://forums.ffshrine.org/sitemap/f-92.html. But now I get "OOps! That link is broken". Is there another way to access that archive without going to the Forum page?

Thanks for any help,

RayKay

dont worry
just a little change and the thread is still accessible
for example this link
Thread 62633
copy the numbers in the end "62633" to the following link
Thread 62633
see now you can access this thread just as usual

Thank you, Sheldon, I appreciate your help, but I'm being dumb and don't follow what you mean. Neither of these links brings me back to the old archive format of just listing the new titles without seeing the thread details until you open a particular link. I now get a "404 error" when I use the old link to what was once that archive.

He's saying that the formatting of the broken link is different. That 5-digit number is what determines what thread you go to. Instead of typing out all of Thread 62633, chop off the end, starting at "f92", and just type in "showthread.php?t=62633". The links he gave are just examples, I think.

Admin is working to restore things. There was a hacking incident, links were invalidated, but we are told things will revert back to normal with time. We have been asked to remain patient, and not to delete the old bookmarks.

Thank you, babydoll, that is reassuring. I shall wait.

Thanks again to Sheldon and also to The Dimensioner, but what you've suggested simply doesn't work for me as it keeps bringing me back to the same defunct lossless score page. I'll do as babydoll has suggested and just wait.

And what do you know? I just tried and it's back to how it used to be. Hooray for that!
